Several Finnish companies and stakeholders participate in the co-operation and we are also cooperating with both domestic and international research partners. Our main networking organizations currently are Åbo Akademi (Finland), NOVA Institute (Germany), Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany), Perstorp AB (Sweden) and Berkeley Lab (USA). International cooperation consist of joint workshops, dissemination and research exchanges in relation to top level CCU and polyol research.

CarbonReUse Finland Oy is specialized in CO2 capture for recycling. When aiming to environment friendly CO2 capture the key target is to promote technologies which are not using chemicals which could harm the environment. Thus clean water processes are preferred. At most some mild additives like sodium are accepted as it is common in nature anyway.

Pirkanmaan jätehuolto (Tampere Regional Solid Waste Management Ltd.) is established to manage the solid waste of the region on behalf of its owner municipalities. The company was established in 1994 and is today owned by 17 municipalities including the city of Tampere. The region covered has 440 000 inhabitants and there are approximately 30 000 companies of varying size. The activities of the company include waste collection, waste treatment, research and development, as well as consumer advice on waste management issues. Activities are based on managing value chains and promoting circular economy. The targets of the company’s environmental policy are waste prevention, recycling and waste-to-energy.
Top Analytica is a small enterprise acting as a contract laboratory for industry and research institutes. The laboratory is specialised in surface and microanalysis and can offer a unique combination of sophisticated analytical techniques. The main customers are from metal and chemical industry and typical research projects are related to material properties, corrosion or development of new products.
Finnfoam Oy is a family-owned company founded in 1982 focused on production of thermal insulation materials. The main products of Finnfoam Oy are thermal insulation boards for building and construction insulation purposes, such as ground frost, base, wall and roof insulation materials including polyurethane PUR/PIR foams. The Chemical Industry Federation of Finland is a member of Cefic, the European Chemical Industry Council. Global cooperation takes place via ICCA, International Council of Chemical Associations.
